Round 4 of the [livejournal.com profile] fmabigbang will run a bit differently than in years past: in fact, it'll be running completely in reverse!

That's right, The 2012-2013 Big Bang will operate as a Reverse Big Bang, in which authors write stories for art pieces. Here goes a huge shout out to [livejournal.com profile] a_big_apple and [livejournal.com profile] bob_fish for all their help in setting this up. ♥

Artists

- The artwork can be anything you want, though it must be substantive enough to inspire a lengthy story. Of course, in the right hands, any image can inspire a (few) thousand words, but do try to submit something with a fair amount of detail and effort. If you submit a 10 minute chibi sketch, the likelihood it will inspire someone to write for you significantly decreases.
-Only one piece may be submitted for author claims. If, after assignments have gone out, you would like to collaborate with your author and draw more, that's perfectly fine.
- Artists will also submit a short survey detailing their prompt preferences, major squicks, etc. to ensure paired teams are compatible as answering an art prompt is very interpretive by nature.

- Art can be any media (digital, water color, doujinshi, etc.)

- Any rating is acceptable, though explicit art will be labeled with appropriate warnings and separated so that underage and/or discerning authors may claim art safely.
- The artwork submitted must be brand new, created specifically for the challenge.

- Please do not post your art anywhere prior to the final posting date. A master list of all fiction and art will be created at the end of the challenge, where we will link to your fanart/fan media on the designated date.

- Signing up means you are making a commitment. Please sign up only if you are serious about completing this challenge.

Artist sign-ups are open July 1st.

Writers

- Stories must be a minimum of 7,500 words in length. There is no maximum word count.

- Any rating is acceptable, so long as it does not go higher than your chosen artist has requested. Stories must stick to the parameters and spirit of the prompt. See more information in the FAQ.

- Please have your story betaed for grammar and spelling.
